You've got that right. I think they avoid giving too many awards to one team. Special deserves higher than 3rd team.

Agreed. Special has been absolutely invaluable to the best team in the A-10. As much as coaches in general like to preach the intangibles as being as vital and in lots of cases, even more important than actual stats/numbers, they sure dont seem to want to vote that way. And, sadly, there's probably a certain degree of politics involved too i.e. voting along party lines so to speak.
