A10 NCAA Tourney Games Played 1999-2009

In my idle time of coming down from a post March Madness bender, I started to wonder how many games each team in the Atlantic 10 has played in the NCAA Tournament over the past decade. I know that teams have up and down years, and not every team from a league can get in (save for the Big East in 2009) but I'm not real keen on spreading the wealth that we've garnered from our appearances!

So I was wondering just exactly how much each team has kicked into the A10 coffers.

    Well, here goes:

    Code:
    Team 99 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 Total
    _____________________________________________________________
    Duquesne - - - - - - - - - - - 0
    Fordham - - - - - - - - - - - 0
    LaSalle - - - - - - - - - - - 0
    Massachusetts - - - - - - - - - - - 0
    Charlotte 2* - 2* 2* - 1* 1* - - - - 8(0)
    St. Louis - 1* - - - - - - - - - 1(0)
    Rhode Island 1 - - - - - - - - - - 1
    Richmond - - - - - 1 - - - - - 1
    St. Bonaventure - 1 - - - - - - - - - 1
    Dayton - 1 - - 1 1 - - - - 2 5
    George Washington 1 - - - - - 1 2 1 - - 5
    St. Joseph's - - 2 - 1 4 - - - 1 - 8
    Temple 4 2 4 - - - - - - 1 1 12
    Xavier - - 1 2 2 4 - 1 2 4 3 19

Nice work, GrimeTime. That's some solid info. While it's obvious where the conference's bread is buttered, it's shocking to see who really hasn't actually contributed to the league. UMass is the most glaring, but I'll cut them some slack for at least the Final Four (despite it getting revoked) which pre-dates your analysis. And Charlotte and STL should be ashamed of themselves. I really thought they were going to be valuable additions to the conference. What a joke. What say you "annoying Niner fan that posts all the time here"? (I can't remember your name.)

The question is, does anybody know how NCAA appearances/victories translate into dollars for the league? Just how much are we sharing here?

Agree, that's good info GrimeTime. It's even worse for the rest of the A-10 than I expected/remembered.

Dayton has as many tourney games as GW.....HA. Thats embarrassing. We support their program, so they can never talk all the shit about closing the gap that their more delusional fans constantly talk.

I'm sick of throwing our success money from the Dance to LaSuck, Dookcane and that "Sinkhole in the Bronx where money and wins disappear.

If we were able to keep our share of NCAA money, we would have had a lot less coaches in the last 10 years. For us to have to share our earnings equally with the scofflaws in this league grinds at me constantly.
