Indeed. i just hope he's still in the Big East next season. And if he is, and if he wins player of the year, it will likely mean that we're going way deep in March. That would also mean mega RTE (Reingeist Truth Extrapolation)!

He seemed more confident in his three point shot in the NIT. In Big East play, he seemed to pass up open looks. Under Coach Hayes, he didn’t seem as reluctant to pull the trigger.

Does Colby test the waters? I think he’ll dip a toe.
If you polled every Xavier fan asking who the top 3 MVP/Best Player candidates were, if Colby was not on that list, that fan should be excommunicated. Them’s some fightin’ words! He and Nunge are our core.
He could be in the running for one of the all time greats with Sean in charge. I have zero doubt.
Well if Hayes stays Colby, odom Nunge will stay. If Jonas leaves, jones, Nunge and odom are prob gone. FREE is def gone. I guess he is butt hurt over being booed during the seton hall game.
If you can't stand the heat....
Once Scruggs was out of the picture, for better or worse, Colby could feel like he needed to take on that role more - for which he may be, arguably, better suited, and more free to use his varied talents instead being confined to the system of which Scruggs was a big consideration.
I do wonder how Scruggs would have played under Jonas, and I think Colby would have benefitted anyway.
I dont agree with this at all.
Nunge stays at X if he wants to play another year f college ball.
Odom I think stays b/c he's going to be coached by a guy who can help him a lot more than most coaches. Plus he going to play 30+ MPG next year
Colby is the wild card. I think Jonas recruited him..........and Jonas cold take him with him if he leaves.
