I should have clarified, I didn't mean like we are going to reach out to these areas to get recruits. I meant like, we finally have the national presence to go out and garner interest from kids around the country, which shows how much our program prestige is increasing. It's going to translate to larger recruits in our pipeline area, aka top 25 recruits, and if we HAVE to go out of our way to pick up somebody from California or Texas, we will have the assets to do so.
Someone posted on the A-10 board that Brandon had cancelled his trip to Mizzou and was going to commit to X. Is this true? Any word?
Not necessarily, I feel it could be more we pick and choose our recruits, the more top talent interested, the better our chances of finding the perfect fit of a particular top talent. Rather than if there's one 5 star interested, we automatically go after him (look at the whole Chris Thomas debacle)
Torraye Braggs doesn't see what the big deal is about getting a stud from California. Anthony Coleman wishes he could agree.

Scouts site says Randolph's visit at Mizzou is today. Let's hope he calls Mack on his way to the airport to tell him the fax is on its way to XU.
Missouri has no game today. Seems like schools would want to give prospects the "gameday" feel on their visits if they are coming during the season.
If he goes to the game, he can see how basketball will always play second fiddle to football at Mizzou. Do you want to be the steak (like a bone-in ribeye) on the plate, or a piece of parsley? Cincinnati's the college bball capital of the country. No better place than here at X.
