The nerds around here (such as myself) who follow Xavier players on Instagram probably have a different mindset then those who are relying on message board updates. This is a loaded draft. Chances are you will NOT go in the 1st round. If you do not go in the 1st round, you do not get guaranteed money. If you come back, improve your game and enter a less talented draft pool next year after your junior season, you WILL get guaranteed money in the 1st round.
The people around these kids are too damn greedy. All his AAU coaches/handlers are probably pushing him to go so they can stick their hands out. It really isn't a touch decision- you aren't going in the 1st round = come back to school. Don't be Vander Blue.
