Remember like 5 years ago when certain people on this board question Trump being on vacation and playing golf and not being President? When was the last time our "president" was not on vacation? I hear next week he's going to move his vacation to the White House for the first time in over two weeks. Who's running the country since apparently Kamala hasn't had anything to do with the current policies.

We're you here on January 6th when he asked his own VP to illegally stop the peaceful transfer of power.
If he's back in the WH with the wide immunity the office seems to have been granted, I think he'd would do a lot of damage to the Justice Dept, and of course probably kill the investigations into his crimes.
That seems like a threat to me...and to a lot of people who weren't "political operatives."

I'll ask you again because nothing you've posted has actually answered the question. If he's an actual threat to Democracy , how would he go about taking down our system of government? That's the message, right? "Trump will destroy democracy" What can he or any other President do to actually threaten our democracy? Using his position to clean up his messes doesn't cut it....Presidents have been doing that for decades.

I'll try to help you with a simple one. Maybe it will help; maybe not.

If you ask your vice president to not perform his duty to count the electoral college votes, you are stopping the peaceful transfer of power that has occurred in our country for centuries. That's a feature of our democracy. He threatened it, and unleashed a mob to stop the vote.

Perhaps that's all too hard to understand. Perhaps you think they were tourists. If so, I can't help you. So, please don't bother asking again. Thanks.

That is a strong and accurate point. However, Smails is simply saying not one inch of sedition is possible because of well known checks and balances established in our beautiful country.

My point is now, and always will be, TDS is an epic American phenomenon.

There has never been, in the history of our great Republic, where the levers of government has been united and hell bent on destroying a FORMER POTUS.....noodle that for a minute.

I never posted here in a political thread until Biden was elected. But with the global importance of what has transpired since the "Golden Escalator"....has been the most significant Geo-Political reality of our time.

Every American must acknowledge the OBAMA life dream to "Fundamentally TRANSFORM America".

Love it or hate it.....he will go down as THE most GLOBAL influential American politician since REAGAN.

Let's get real here. OBAMA IS the heart/mind of the American Left. Look how the Harris campaign has magically inherited all that '08/'12 O staff.
