Wasn’t Trump and Clinton pretty close in the 1990s and early 2000s? Thought Trump was a big donor to the Bill Clinton campaign.

Latest poll shows Biden up 5 points on trump but Hailey 5 points ahead of Biden if she wins. Sadly Somehow republicans are going to screw this up.

Keep hitching their wagon to a complete loser that hasn’t been able to win a general in a long time. It’s not 2016 anymore…, all he and his buddies have done is lose lose lose no matter what for quite a while now.
His only hope is that a decent third party candidate comes and splits the moderate vote. If not, it’s four more years of grandpa

Texas has the right to secede from the U.S. if its citizens decide to do so, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley argued on Wednesday -- a controversial view that contradicts centuries of established history and precedent. Similar secession efforts infamously led to the Civil War.
I'm starting to question the American History classes in our state's high schools and colleges, especially since it was tried once before right here.
Uh oh, even GamerGate star Brianna Wu has realized maybe the left be crazy as fuck, too.

Now that the actual legislation text has been released, I wanted to circle back on this. Shocking that what Cruz, Trump and his buddies said were lies. Shocked I tell ya! So again I ask, what is wrong with the legislation? Nothing, except that Trump would have zero to run on if it were passed.
Good bipartisan legislation that fixes a lot of the issues that Dems and Republicans have been wanting to fix for a few decades now.
However, again the fringe of both the left and the right don't like it, and could kill it. We should expect more from our elected officials.
From the linked article. Bold is from me.
“The $118 billion agreement, which was released Sunday afternoon and negotiated for months, would tighten the standard for migrants to receive asylum, automatically shut down the southern border to illegal crossings if migrant encounters hit certain daily benchmarks and send billions of dollars to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan as well as the border.”
Here’s a thought. Shut the border down completely. The daily benchmark is, I believe, 5,000. That’s over a million for the year. That’s still too many.

So, a couple of things. It isn't perfect by any means. It never was going to be. The 5,000 isn't like the border is just open and we say come on in and here is your path to citizenship certificate. They would go thru the process, and due to the bill, it would be a quicker process of expulsion or asylum. There is a significant percentage that are going to be immediately deported. Its a step in the right direction, that congress could then go back to and improve upon.
Here is a bit more info on the actual process and the changes that would be made:

Being what America stands for and how it was founded, I see 0 crossings as a non-starter. Our country should be a place of refuge for those who actually need it.
Regardless, its most likely not even going to get to the house. Fringe Republicans only want to pass Trump legistlation, and Fringe Democrats think its too harsh and/or don't like the aid to Israel provisions.
I think its an awful bill. I'm all for legal entry but There should be zero undocumented crossings (I know unrealistic) but we are going to allow 5k a day or 1.8m a year?! Also, I don't understand why Ukraine has to be tied to this bill. 62billion?? So far we have given them 74billion and we want to almost double that on this bill alone
