I think he is definitely going to be hitting a wall. It happens with majority of freshman that get solid playing time. Key thing for Edmond is to focus on not turning the ball over and playing good defense. Because of the weapons around him, the offense will come back just because he'll get his looks. He got caught a couple times trying to go one on one and couldn't get anything going. Can't get down when that happens, just let the offense come and don't force anything.
His scoring obviously helps, but if Jalen keeps stringing together solid games then it'll make up for Ed's lack of production in the scoring column
does anyone else hate it when an announcer calls him "Edmond Summer"? That annoys me so much.
As concern seems to be increasing for Ed and Abell, both J.P. and Austin, Jr. have picked up their respective games. So long as Trevon, Farr, Jalen and The Jazz Man each come to play consistently each game, the role players may vary from game-to-game.
Ed gets the gold jersey this week. He's baaaaaaaaaack!

Was bored today and looked at mock drafts. Sumner is #16 on this one for 2017.
What was Semaj's highest projected? Like 28th right? I think Sumner is the real deal, and he will be scary if he gains some muscle, he's explosive, and has shown improvement on his shot and free throws from the beginning of the season. I would like to think he works his tail off in the gym.
I hope you're wrong, and Ed's play in the 6 games following your prediction suggest that no wall has been hit. He's shot 53% from the field while averaging 14.1 ppg, 2.8 rpg, and 2.5 assists against just 1.3 turnovers. With the exception of the Creighton game, he has looked like anything but a freshman.
It's a good thing he's slowed down and he's hit that proverbial brick wall; I wouldn't be able to keep up with him.
