My 3 year old's response to the Steele news was that now he could coach one of the other sports at Xavier. Who knows, maybe he could get the women's team turned around.

Christopher not out of the Woods yet.. he still might need to go next.. time will tell.

I really wonder if that was the final straw. I suspect Steele would still be head coach if not for the appallingly spectacular collapse against Butler. It took the maelstrom so far that it could no longer be ignored.

I’m convinced the final straw was Sean pushing the issue. Reports of Steele and Greg on same page as of Sunday and he was blindsided yesterday.

Perhaps X can’t afford Miller. He is being promised the sun and the moon by now with South Carolina and USC.

If we find out we wanted Sean Miller but couldn't get Sean Miller, you'd have to think that's the last straw for Christopher. I actually thought they might have this all settled yesterday. The timing is just weird and I don't think they'd get rid of him just be in a bidding war
