So, it's alright for the US to take action when threatened, but Putin isn't allowed to when similar threats are made against Russia? Hell, we almost had a nuclear exchange in 1962. Again, I'll point out, you're completely ignoring what happened between the US/NATO, Russia and Ukraine prior to the invasion. The history of this war didn't start with the invasion. You're taking an over-simplistic view of the situation.

By pointing out facts that run counter to US propaganda doesn't mean I, nor anyone else, is siding with Putin. That's such an incredibly childish response.

Are you 100% sure Putin bombed civilian hospitals and schools without any provocation? Are you 100% sure that Zelenskyy wasn't possibly using those same hospitals and schools for military purposes?

Yeah, you should avoid doing that in the future. And certainly don't quote his craziness.

The counter to his BS talking point, is that the Ukrainian constitution prohibits elections while martial law is enacted, so to hold the election would require a constitutional amendment or face a constitutional crisis. Alternatively, and this would be much better, Russia could go the fuck home and the need for martial law ends.
