Wow good for them! King of the worsening of our society. Something to really be proud of.

Doesn't worry me at all. Not a lot of mystery that Fox opinion hosts lie all the time.
This time it cost them money.
The use to have good straight news reporting with Shepard Smith, and a few others. They're gone.
The media really has made a complete mockery of themselves as a group the last 10-15 years (and especially since Trump became a political figure). It's very sad.
Took Fox long enough to realize that paying $787 million might have been more preferable to $1.6 billion dollars plus potential punitive damages.
Would have looked forward to seeing Hannity and Tuckkker on the stand, though.
I think it’s safe to say that the opinion hosts all l news networks lie all the time. They’ll take comments and clips out of context to make them appear to say exactly what they want.
The really sad part is there are a lot of people who think Sean Hannity, Rachel Maddow, etc., are reporting news and not their biased opinions.

All major news media is owned and/or controlled by entertainment production companies such as Universal, Paramount, Turner, Fox Entertainment, etc. They look at the news through the same lens as they look at entertainment through. They want a big audience. They want to engage people. Two of the most effective ways to engage people are to scare them and/or make them mad. If you can do that, you've hooked your audience. They'll keep coming back for more.
Fox News wouldn't be #1 without the liberals. That's a big part of their audience. It makes them mad, and they don't have enough self discipline to watch something else. As much as they hate Tucker Carlson, they keep watching his show. Talk about a grift!! It's not NEARLY as awesome as the Ultra Right Beer guy, but it is a grift nonetheless.
GREAT point!
