Actually I think the following (for purposes of that article):
"Officially announced": Player has come out and personally announced his intention to apply for the draft and leave school. Paperwork not necessarily filed.
"Reported leaving": Sources have indicated that the player will leave school and apply for the draft, but the player has not necessarily released a statement or otherwise made a first person attestation to that effect.
"Expected to leave": The press assumes the player likely will leave college and apply for the NBA draft.
Does the new NCAA food rule swing Semajs decision to come back?
It was Blue Gibbon when I was there. Used to see Dez walking around with a minimum of 2 boxes full of it.
Any guesses as to how many calories these kids burn? My guess is the actual cost to universities for providing them unlimited meals isn't that great.
Not sure how I feel about providing the non-scholarship kids with unlimited meals, unless the intent is for this to only apply away from the university.
This might be more than you think. When I was doing 2 practices a day back when I was young and swimming, coaches estimated we burned around 8k calories a day. My parents now laugh and say when I wasn't in class/job/practice I was eating. Literally eating between classes, eating and doing homework, basically eating everywhere.
