I'm not sure we were "force fed" a narrative. If you're watching an insurrection live, and people are bowling over the police in real time, and other people are trying to reach the president...begging him to call them off...does seeing some of them who breached the police line wandering the halls because there weren't enough cops there to evict them at that point...does that change the narrative? Is it less of a riot?
It's like someone said..you could watch the video of Kennedy in the car approaching Dealay Plaza and say all was OK.
Or you could look at him being shot.
The earlier video doesn't change what happened. It doesn't lessen the deed.
Watching some of the people who broke in wandering the halls doesn't change the basic facts. They weren't "tourists."
Tourists don't cross police barricades and force themselves inside a tourist attraction.
