I have zero idea on why you continue to make this personal about me.
When I have a point to make about politics (the title of this thread) I make every effort to back it up with credible links to factual data.
Just look at our last exchange. I noted we just shipped more LNG to Europe last year than the year before, after you indicated that Biden has slowed it down.
And I posted a link to a credible site that tracks those numbers.
That's my idea of an exchange in a political thread. Not to call you names and make it personal...just focus on ideas and facts.
There's certainly room for opinions on what our leaders are doing, one way or the other.
But we should all use the same set of facts.
For example, you note this:

On the LNG link Paul, it will go down as Biden ended a large part of our energy production. The 2021 number reflects previous policy. We now are buying oil from Russia and Iran. That was not necessary until Biden’s decision.

Strange, the issue is much more complex than how you have it characterized.
I would hope you might be able to see this extensive discussion, that notes how courts have often stepped in to change the landscape.

Well, no Keystone (alone produces more oil than what is bought from Russia), no ANWAR and a reduction in fracking (where most of the NG is produced) but he's issuing other permits. The Keystone decision was terrible at the time and it is worse now. We're not ready to make the switch to renewables and now we're paying the Russians to kill Ukrainians.

Oh, and WaPo would never craft an article to benefit democrats, right?

Maybe we can accelerate the move to renewable. Some other countries are ahead of us, so it is possible.

That’s nice Paul but it’s not keeping up with demand or we wouldn’t need to import energy. The decisions made on energy last year we’re incredibly short sighted (to be kind) and we’re seeing the consequences. And the German’s made a push for renewables while prematurely shutting down other forms of of proven sources. Now they need LNG from Russia. Stupid policies made on bad politics and garbage “science”.

How about an “all of the above energy policy” while we develop renewables?

The “Articles of Impeachment” were written by the same partisan hacks who tried to smear Bret Kavanaugh. Sorry if I discount their validity and refuse to acknowledge fuckery.

Initially in 2016 Joe Biden tried to withhold a billion dollars from Ukraine unless a certain prosecutor was fired. And he bragged about it!!That is an abuse of power and an overreach into a sovereign country.
Trump made a phone call that Zelensky says had no pressure applied. There was no Quid Pro Quo. Ukraine got the defensive weapons that they were promised. That is no abuse of power unless the Dem party was desperate and decided to pull an Impeachment move out of the hat to smear Trump. A 100% partisan move.. Now that the Dems have decided to normalize Impeachment, wait until the Republicans get back in power in November. You ain’t seen nothing yet..
Hunter Biden was getting paid $80k/ month for nothing for dealings in Ukraine. That sure seems weird. Hunter Biden has all kinds of questionable dealings with China- some with arrangements for “The Big Guy”. That pesky laptop computer just won’t go away.
Now that Impeachment has been normalized, the fun is just beginning when the House and Senate flip soon.
