Holy hell Paul. This may be the worst take from a “college educated” person. What process develops the most NG from/in the US? And that’s just NG. Crude is another story. My point is what will the trend line look like like after the production stops?

The inference was that the current administration stopped the exporting of LNG to Europe, when in fact it has increased.
That's not "my" take...that's the information I noted from the EIA.

I think POTUS is working with other countries to help improve Europe's supply options so they don't have to depend on Russia.

Sure, but how’s he going to do that after shutting down production in one of the most energy rich countries in the World (it’s us, just in case you didn’t pick up what I’m putting down). And we don’t even look to expand nuclear anymore. Energy is the driver of civilizations. From fire to fusion.

Biden has made the US more dependent on foreign energy- as proven by his begging other countries to increase production, while limiting new permits here, and by giving the Russians Nordstream 2 it did zero to deter an invasion.

Oil consumption was nonexistant in 2020. If you remember oil prices actually went negative in early 2020, thats what a global pandemic does. Now we have no supply chains and a massive consumption boom. US crude production fell by 10% in 2020 as rigs shut down because it was so unprofitable.

Neither party would have done better, it was economics not politics. We have always been dependent on foreign oil in times of consumption booms (see 2005-2007).

None of it really matters in 20 years, renewables are going to be much cheaper than fossils without subsidies. We have to bridge the gap, so they might as well drill away in the meantime but in the end economics always wins.

How did he stymie it? What policy did he approve? Keystone wouldn’t be online for another 2 years and it’s WCS which most refineries aren’t setup to handle. I get the facts don’t support your agenda. Rig count didn’t drop because of policy, it dropped because of covid.

I’m not anti drilling, I think it’s natural to bridge the gap until renewables are cheaper. The uk and Europe have no bridge it’s why they are screwed.

I think both parties are full of idiots, but just blindly assigning blame to one party for everything is the true BS. Both parties and their media are full of crap.

Killed the Keystone pipeline. Ended exploration in AWAR and banned fracking on Federal (stolen) land. You do realize that energy is traded on futures, right?

Renewables are a pipe dream and not part of the current or any reality.

The futures curve is very steep backwardation fwiw implying oil prices will drop pretty significantly over the next 2 years. The uk and Europe get 40% of their energy from renewables. The problem is they can’t bridge the gap.

If you want to blame the democrats blame them for qe and fiscal. That caused the inflation. Factually it was not green energy or climate change. It was the fact that money supply went up 20% in a year. That’s simply dumb

I just think it’s stupid to parrot Tucker when the guy is just as clueless as Maddow. Both get paid to sell ads, that’s all they care about
