Hey, I follow you on Twitter, so I know you're on there. If you're on Twitter, you should know that isn't true.

Ha! Not from me, but yeah. MSNBC and CNN ain’t afraid to double down. Interesting that two of the biggest racist screaming networks could bother to carry the acceptance speech by Winsome Sears, the new Lt. Governor of Virginia. Maybe point that finger back at yourself???
Also, Thought it was hilarious that those wise Lincoln Project grifters tried to channel Charlottesville at a Younkin rally by installing Dem operatives carrying Tiki Torches that implied……….
High Comedy
Certainly no huge revelation, but to me, the MOST sickening thing about politics in this country today, is the absolute blatant liberal operatives in Main Stream/Social media. These are massively influential Democrat/progressive operatives that don't even try to be anywhere close to balanced. In fact, it is just a flat out joke at this point and a textbook Marxist tactic.
Prime example this morning....had me rollin'.
One of the most impactful Gubernatorial races in recent memory and YAHOO "NEWS" doesn't mention the results anywhere I could see.....couldn't stomach to scroll down far enough to see if it was there at all. This is HIGH COMEDY! They could be the most toxic source for all things political and for social issues. Sadly these twisted propaganda machines are able to exist because among the "moderate" Dems still out there, there is ZERO willingness to push back on this crap!
My take on this is slightly different, although perhaps only slightly.
The companies that produce all of the mainstream news are entertainment companies. NBC is owned by Universal, CBS is owned by Paramount (which I think is owned by Viacom), Fox is owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, ABC is owned by Disney, and CNN is owned by Turner. They produce the news the way the produce their entertainment, and I believe their primary goal is to engage people and not necessarily to inform them. The two most effective ways to engage people is to frighten them, or to make them mad. I don't think it's a political agenda so much as it is wanting to engage, and sustain, and grow their audience.
I think they're all pretty much the same. Fox, and Newsmax (I do enjoy some of their documentaries), and OAN (who is independent, but still has the same motives as the entertainment groups) are really the same as the liberal media in my eyes. They are doing the same thing. They are engaging their audience the most effective way they know how, and that's NOT by having informing their audience as their primary goal.
And...sadly...I think it works! Everyone is pissed off! That means everyone is engaged! They'll keep watching. All day long. It's almost like they can't help themselves. I've been trying like hell for the past year or so to get my parents to turn the fucking TV off and stop watching five hours of "news" every day. It's bad for their mood and bad for the psyche. It actually starts to make sense as to how some of these extremist groups are able to radicalize their members. If you scare them and make them mad for several hours a day for weeks and months at a time, you'll convert them!
And to your original point, they also don't want to put anything out there that will make their audience abandon them.
From Axios:
"The Federal Election Commission has ruled foreign donors can finance U.S. referendum campaigns, opening the door to foreign spending on fights over high-profile policy issues, Axios has learned.
Why it matters: Foreign nationals are barred from donating to U.S. political candidates or committees. But the FEC’s decision — allowing them to support ballot committees — provides another avenue for foreigners to directly influence U.S. voters and domestic policy."
This is quite amazing on so many levels. So does this mean that Dems won't be able to bitch about Russians helping Trump in 2024?
I guess the calculus is that the Dems think that China will be able to supply them with far more money than the Russians can provide Trump (assuming, of course, anyone believes that was ever real).
From the NY Times.
“Colorado is so overwhelmed with coronavirus cases that hospitals are now allowed to turn away new patients.”
Congratulations Bobbie! You’re doing great!!
Once the vaccine was readily available, meaning that everyone who wanted it could get it for free at virtually every pharmacy in America, I wouldn't have minded had this been the policy all across the land. No one has to get the vaccine, but if they get sick then the hospitals can turn them away and make way for other patients who need to be treated for ailments that were not entirely avoidable.
And maybe not...
https://www.nytimes.com/live/2021/11...rado-hospitalsQuote:
Most hospitalized Covid patients are unvaccinated.
At UCHealth, one of the state’s biggest health systems, 76 percent of patients hospitalized with Covid-19 are unvaccinated, and over 86 percent of Covid-19 patients who are in need of a ventilator and are in intensive care are unvaccinated
Then again, maybe so: https://freedomfirstnetwork.com/2021...cardiac-arrest
Also, you need to ask the question: how many unvaxxed people are being admitted to the hospital because of Covid, versus how many went into the hospital for something unrelated and then tested positive for Covid?
