For the most part, the NBA recruits BIGS on potential. That's because they are far more rare, and their front offices believe they need to get out ahead of their competition. Guards tend to stick around longer. The odds that a true freshman point guard on a borderline NCAA tournament team playing primarily A-10 competition is predicted to go in the 1st round of the NBA draft (and hence is even inclined to consider leaving early) are very, very, very, very low. Semaj may leave early. It may even be a probability. But after 1 year? This year?? To the NBA??? Not happening.
