I'm starting to think that to. This has been a clinic. The thing I LOVE about MSU is that their entire roster is regional. Most of the kids are from Michigan. We keep asking why Sean would leave Xavier this year. Well, why on Earth would Izzo ever leave MSU? He must be a demi-god for all MSU fans. I mean, no four year player for him has never been to the final four. That's just an amazing stat to me.

Because I have no life I was just looking at Tom Izzo's wiki page and this is a quote he apparently said, "We’ll play anybody, anyplace, anytime. It doesn’t matter, morning, noon or night, and it doesn’t matter who it is.”

I would LOVE to play Michigan State at some point. That would be a great game for our players.

Too bad he's completely full of shyt. I was at Zip's once and Skip mentioned getting a return call from Izzo laughing and saying no way he was coming into Cintas.

Skip didn't fault him, but you need to get over your Izzo man love.

Add to that, Freddy, that during either one of Sean Miller's radio shows this year, or maybe it was a Lance interview with Bobo, (I can't remember which) there was a comment as to Michigan State being willing to play anyone,anytime and why didn't Xavier schedule the Spartans. The answer was "well, they aren't willing to play everyone. We've tried."

So the attempts have been more recent than Skip's tenure.
