Can someone explain to me why Ta'Shia wasn't a 1st, 2nd or even 3rd team All American. With a line of 13.9/12.1 seems like she would be a lock for AA honors. Hell, Maya Moore from UConn only avg 9.1/8.9 and she is 1st team AA.

Maya plays fpr UConn which is in the Big East and coached by Geno, the legend, and wins national championships as frequently as the Muskie Women win various A-10 Championships.
Phillips plays for Xavier which is in the A-10 and coached by Kevin McGuff.
'Nuff said, I'd think!

To average a double-double and get ignored is insulting. Put away for next year and do some damage. She and Harris should be a fearsome tandem.

No NCAA success = no postseason honors
It's not right, but I have a feeling that's why she didn't make it.

If you're going to single out someone who is on the All-America team, it shouldn't be Maya Moore. She's the best player in the country. Also, she averages 19 points per game, not 9.
Ta'Shia's only a sophomore, and doesn't get as much exposure. And fair or unfair, upset losses in the first round of the tournament don't help her cause.

It must have been a misprint on the web site you saw. Maya Moore average 19.1 and 8.9.
