I'm not sure how good he is anyway. We'll certainly find out in two years.

How do you fit in a guy thought who is used to taking so many shots and scoring 20+ every night?

I read a story about him that Virginia Tech got in late on his recruiting, but chose to go to Liberty because he had already made a verbal committment. That might be the first place he looks.

I really don't see the difference between backing out of a verbal and choosing to transfer after a year, but its whatever.

Well if you go for the year you may end up really liking it and loving your coach, teammates, and school and end up staying. I doubt he was thinking from the beginning I dont want to look bad backing out of this verbal so I'll go and transfer out the second I'm done. He probably realized and showed himself and the rest of the country he could dominate at that level and wants a bigger challenge.

From Andy Katz:

Seth Curry, who led the nation's freshmen in scoring with 20.2 points a game this season, wants to play at a higher level, notably in the ACC and in the state of North Carolina (NC State, Wake Forest, Duke or North Carolina).

I see Seth more at a school like NC State, Wake, or Duke rather than UNC but I could be wrong. I am very interested to how he will fit into a team where he doesn't have to be the only scorer much like his brother.

CJ averaged 18 a night. I think he fits in just fine.

Not in talent.

But yes in as far as CJ being the man on his Manhattan team that took alot of shots and scored quite a bit.

Bottom line I would take him.

Ya, ok. I would too. I'm just not sure if he would like how he would have to adjust. I guess thats what he is going to have to expect though moving up to a higher level. It is just that XU is so balanced and he probably wouldnt take half the number of shots he took as a freshman at Liberty.

Like you said, wherever he goes, that being a top tier school, he's not going to get all of the shots.

I don't think I will be able to watch ESPN in two years when he is playing. Between the constant coverage and Dickie V, it will be unbearable.

Oh awesome, Duke got what they were missing, a one dimensional shooter. Better watch out for them in 2 years.

It should also really help their image of being soft too.

Seth Curry sure provdes that "inside presence" that the Blue Devils have been looking for.

What a perfect addition.

Yeah, I don't understand Coach K. He's supposedly a basketball genius. Yet he doesn't seem to really care about recruiting an inside presence.

Is it academic standards? Solid post players are hard to find. Perhaps Duke's academic requirements limits the already small pool of good post players.
