The Big 12?
6-0 in the first round with arguably much tougher matchups than the overhyped Big Greased. If I was in the heartland, I'd really be pissed at the crap that BESPN spews.
The Big 12 just seems to toil in relative anonyminity to the other leagues, probably because their schools aren't, for the most part, in large markets. You hardly ever see, at least around here, a CBS Big 12 game or anything like the coverage that the four letter network gives to Transgreasey's group. Hell, it took Missouri until mid-January to even be ranked and, other than Oklahoma, there was little hype about their teams. However, that league is damn good, year in and year out. Xavier's win against Mizzou may arguably be our best win of the year.

While you can't argue with the results from the past two days, I still think the Big East and ACC are better than the Big 12. 2 days worth of games is not a big enough sample size for me to jump to any conclusion.
However, I definitely agree that they are "under-covered" and deserve to be in the discussion more than they are - except for one team in Kansas, who I feel is greatly overrated.

Uconn just crushed Texas A&M so the Big East is pretty good. One problem with the Big 12 is their own media which seems to be more focused on Spring Football Practice, rather than the tournament.

I definitely agree that Kansas is overrated, and feel that Oklahoma was over-covered on account of Blake Griffin. The rest of the Big 12 seems like it doesn't get press unless they make Sportscenter's top 10.

CBS shows different games in different markets, but covers mostly the bigger conferences. I feel there was sufficient coverage of the Big 12 teams that were worth watching.
And just like it doesn't matter what conference you're in to get selected into the tournament, it doesn't matter once the Dance begins. You have to win and we've seen that almost any team can win.

The Big East, think getting 5 (granted they have 16 teams) to the sweet sixteen gives them the claim until those teams are knocked off, hope Pitt is the first on Thursday night. Like to see the Cuse go down as well.

The Big East is good but outside of those 5 teams, there is no one that really stands outs. WVU and Marquette are good but not great with everyone else this year either playing ok ball or really sucking.
So sorry, I don't buy the argument that the BE is the best/greatest/all powerful conference. It is a top heavy conference and that's it.
