In their bracket challenge Mike Golic had Wake Forest going to the Final Four...not looking so good for him as Cleveland St. is POUNDING them by 20 with 3 minutes left...good grief.

The loser of the challenge has to have their legs waxed. Yikes!

I was VERY tempted to pick this upset because Wake is so young and doesn't shoot well. Thankfully I didn't have them going farther than the Sweet 16. I can't believe the margin either.

Cleveland State is tough, and well coached by Gary Waters. I like what he's doing at that program.

I said basically the same thing during the live chat. Waters is building a nice program in downtown Cleveland. He has built this thing on defense so, even when the offense isn't clicking, they are usually in the game. If the offense is hitting, you wind up with big wins over WF.

My bracket is screwed - Wake was my Final Four dark horse team. I freaking gave a co-worker 15 points...I guess I owe him two lunches since that's what the Vikings won by.

I guess Arizona didn't belong after all. Either their embattled coach is looking at an extension with a Sweet 16 bid, or CSU is going to repeat their Sweet 16 run of 1986.

One other thing about Gary Waters, he's not doing it with thugs, or empty headed players.

J'Nathan Bullock, the kid with the dreads, was a high school honor student with a 3.4 GPA and is majoring in Mechanical Engineering for Gawd' sake. Cedric Jackson transferred from St. Johns and is a Communications Major- and it shows. Chris Moore went to my kid's High School- St. Eds in Lakewood. Norris Cole was Salutatorian of his High School class at Dayton Dunbar, is a member of the National Honor Society and is a Education major.

I'm loving what Gary Waters represents and what he's doing at CSU. That is a program that I'm getting behind. I might buy seasons to them next year. They deserve support, because, like Xavier they are building their program the truly right way with quality people.
