Agreed. I think WVU is who looks painful right now. They look completely unprepared and out of sorts against UD's defense. Dayton definitely dictating the tempo.

Edit: Kurt Huelsman is still terrible, by the way.

I think Dayton looks pretty good. I think they have a lot to do with WV looking bad, too. Dayton can ugly up a game like few others.

This 3:00 session is turning out pretty well.

Temple and Arizona State are within 3 with about 6 minutes left
PITT and ETSU are TIED with 19:28 left - folks this is a 1/16 game!!!!!
FLyers are up 7 to Huggins - I guess thats good for the A10 - 18:33 left, wait Huggy Bear got it back within 4 and we have ourselves a game up in the MetroDome.

Mizzou is leading Cornell and its not a blowout there either. Nothing like those UNC and uConnn Slaughterhouse games yesterday around this time.

Watching Ruoff play in the BE tournament and in this game, he is more of a detriment to the team. Maybe getting him on the bench won't be a bad thing.

This looks like one of those games where one team is down the whole time, can get it close, but just can't get over the hump. WVU has been within 1 or 2 for a while. Still 8 minutes to go. This game is fugly.

You might be correct. WVU made a little run after he went to the bench and it's still just a 2-pt. game. 54-52 UD with 6 miunutes left.

Chris Wright with a nasty tomahawk jam.....followed up by Mickey Perry making one of the dumbest decisions in basketball history to try and drive instead of pulling the ball out to run the offense. They could have almost iced it; instead, WV is still right there.

I can't handle much more of this. The play is so, so bad. WVU hasn't made a field goal in something like 7 minutes. I don't think Gregory or Huggins could coach their way out of a paper sack.

Pitt game basically over now. 67-61 with 1:05 remaining. Pitt ball after the commercial. At least we can avoid the Miller to Pitt rumor for another two days...losing to the 16 would have had people speculating on the ouster of Dixon.

How hard is it to gameplan against UD? They can barely score in the halfcourt. Play halfcourt D and rebound, limit their second chance and transition points. That's it. Nice job, Blob.

I don't think it's that WVU lost it, UD just beat them. I don't think it's a fluke either. Remember, they blitzed Marquette, beat us... They lack consistency, but UD has the potential to beat a lot of teams. They are relatively athletic, play aggressive defense and have guys like Wright and M.Johnson who can go off for stretches on offense. They aren't bad.

Can't deny that UD played some clutch BB down the stretch. Little's 'and one' with 2:00 (?) to go was big. I actually enjoyed watching Gregory's reaction when the ref called the foul and the hoop. Even for teams I don't like, this is just an awesome time of year and that was an awesome moment for him and his team.

Good for UD good for the A-10 and the Big East will continue to be exposed. I think it is about 7-2 odds that not a single big east team gets past the sweet 16.

I loved when the Ref's called goal tending on Huelsman's hook shot... I'm pretty sure it was a line drive toward the front of the rim. He took a few of those against X, all with pretty much the same result.

I only watched portions of the game, but from what I saw UD definitely looked like the better team. Did a very good job of playing to their strengths. They might be tough on Sunday b/c of their depth and opponent's lack of preparation time.
