I assume it was since it was on espn2. They have an HD channel. But I was at the game so I don't know.

I was there too but recorded the game so my son could watch it (too late for him) and the game was not in HD that night.

All the games that Xavier has played on CBS the last few years have been in HD. None of the ESPN games or FSN games were HD.

I don't see the big deal. I would probably cry if Xavier won the national championship, and from here on I expect that to happen as often as UD making the tourney.

The UD game on ESPN2 was not in HD. The only games in HD this year were the Duke debacle and a couple of non-conf. games on CBSCSHDTV. Auburn and Virginia, if I'm not mistaken. Now that I think about it, the Shootout may have been in HD, but I'm not sure as I went to the game and didn't record it.

DAYTON — March 5: Several complaints were made on John Street about a topless female trying to fight another female.

All the callers stated they have never seen anything quite like that and felt that it was very shocking to them.

Officers had contact with the female subject earlier that day and at that time cited her for disorderly conduct for cursing excessively.

During the latest incident, she was warned twice about cursing and began spitting when she was placed in the cruiser.

A spit sock was placed on her and she was transported to jail.




I bet a "Cops" episode would be quite entertaining. BTW, what in tarnation is a "spit sock?" and why does Dayton Police have them?

I assume they are referring to a "spit hood" which is pretty much just as it sounds - it's a mesh-type thing that goes over the criminal's head and has a guard where the mouth would be so the person cannot spit on the officer. I've never seen it referred to as a "spit sock."

Dayton is having budget problems. Maybe they could only afford the "sock" option.

This is pretty pathetic. Crying just for making the tourney? Really? How sad. Heck, making the tourney means jack shit, you have to do something in it before even considering that it's a good year around these parts.

If X doesn't make the Sweet 16, I will be highly disappointed. Meanwhile dayton fans cry for joy for just getting invited. Pathetic.
