Everharts looking strong. Melquan Bolding and Aaron Jackson are going to be fantastic players in this league.

I'd say A-Jax already qualifies as being a fantastic player in the league, considering he only has one more A-10 game maximum in his career.

Oops, I was thinking he was a youngster. I was going to be VERY impressed.

London Warren, on the other hand, is and always will be awful.

If Jackson was a freshman, I don't even want to think about the damage the Dukes could do over the next few years. Still should be very solid and competing for byes year in and year out under the best coach in the A10 (sarcasm.)

Everhart might be the best coach in the A-10. He's making a helluva case right now.

I was a bit worried Duquesne was going to blow an 18 point lead in record time, but it looks like they have it under control again.

Everhart has Evans ready to take over when Jackson leaves. And he's got some height coming in. Right now the Dukes don't have anyone over 6'7" on the roster, at least anyone who plays.

Not that we need any reminders, but the Dukes show why guards rule college hoops.

Congrats Dukes. Doesn't really cheer me up though. I need X to go on a little run.

Nice win for the Dukes! It will be amazing if they win tomorrow. Biggest tournament shocker in the history of the A10.

Fear the Mighty Dukes. I want to see them win the whole thing.

I'm suddenly in a better mood too. Go home Dayton. I want Duquesne to win and UD to sweat it out on Sunday.

Me too. Go Dukes. Your security sucks, but your team is pretty darn good. Now go out and win the whole damn thing.

I HATE dayton.

I totally feel better now that I see Dayton choked worse than X did. Devendork is a punk-ass but I'm still glad to see Thuggins succumb to a worn-out Syracuse team in OT no less.

yep isn't it funny when you think your down, Dayton comes along and loses worse to make you feel much better?

Yes, seeing UD and Huggins go down does help ease the pain.

I'm with those rooting for Duquense tonight - it's part rooting for the underdog/Cinderella team, and part "I HATE TEMPLE". Just imagine seeing Temple lose by 1 point in a Boardwalk Hall jammed with 10,000 Temple fans and maybe 100 Dukes fans. Or are magic busses and cars from Pittsburgh headed to Atlantic City as we speak?

Much less, imagine being in the sweatbox that is the Selection Committee Room when the clerk brings in the news "Duquesne just won the A10 Finals!", especially when our own Mike hears it. Imagine every bubble team in America at about 8PM tonight? Wait Temple wasn't predicted to go to the Dance either, every bubble team in America is already cursing the A10.

I am glad that we are bursting the bubble. Temple has a small chance of making it anyway based upon RPI. If the Mighty Dukes win tonight people will be sweating all over the bubble. Like Coaster said they already are.

GO DUKES! Duquesne has a young team, it would be exciting to see them win the A-10 and make the dance. I actually think they could do some damage they way they were playing last night. Man they can fly. I like them.

FEAR THE MIGHTY DUKES!

If Dookcane wins, do we resurrect the Snuggies for another chance next year?

A bid for them would prove it wasn't the fleece.

I turn on the championship game and Dookane is up 35-34. Christmas proceeds to bury two threes in a row, one of which was off-balance and falling away and Fernadez hits a fade away jumper at the buzzer. 42-37 Temple at the half.

Looks like I have to quit watching.

its been an entertaining game so far, Christmas is having a whale of a game so far and Jackson for Dookane is fun to watch.

Dukes keep staying within the 8-10 mark, but they'd better knock it down to 6 or 7 before the 4-minute mark to have a prayer.

A potential 4-point play by AJAX can only help.

Dookane down 8 at the under 4 timeout. They are hanging around but Temple keeps finding ways to hit clutch shots and are killing the Dukes on the glass.

Looks like Temple....now can they win a game in the tourney or will they get smacked like last year.

Congrats Temple. I think the 4 games in 4 days did the Dukes in, they couldn't even get shots right by the basket to fall towards the end of this one.

Duquesne needed someone more than just Aaron Jackson to carry them in this one. Damian Saunders and Melquan Bolding look like future stars in the league, but they were just running on fumes.

Duquesne will be a dangerous team for the next 3 years. Don't forget about Bill Clark. If Everhart can get himself a big man to play with those guys, they'll be someone to contend with.

I will now spell Duquesne the right way going forward. Looks like former XU guy Greg Amodio has things going in the right direction there now.
