Wow. Saw several clips of the UK coach tossing his players under the bus with "it's not me, it's them" kind of comments. Even if true, that doesn't seem like the kind of thing that you air in a public forum.

Is UK going to keep this guy past this season?

I've heard rumors that he might get fired. I can't believe you fire the guy after two years, but that's the rumor I've heard.

No signed contract, so he's an employee at will. That's convenient.

I know the fanbase is not happy with him - on and off the court. I can see him being shown the door.

We could make room for him in the A-10. Fordham or GW, maybe?

That is correct...but they do have something called a "letter of understanding"...don't know what it's in it, but it sure sounds easier than a contract

That's what happens in the Commonwealth! Everything is easier...EVERYTHING (especially if y'alls got cousins)!

I could see him hunting for a new job, not waiting for the situation to get worse. If he can't get better players recruited, the natives will stop being nasty, and demand his head on a platter.

I love to go there after they lose. There will be 10,000 people on there in melt-down mode, and the agony is quite entertaining.

Sounds a lot like Bloated Bobby Thuggs in his post game shows with Chuck Machock.

I think he is a good coach. It just seems to be a bad marriage. His relationship with the press in Lexington now is toxic. He gets huffy with the press if they ask a question about a specific player. He angrily tells them to lay off this or that player, and then he turns around and deflects any criticism towards himself by pushing the issue back onto the players. It seems to be a Peter Principle thing to me.
