The following is a post from UDPride by rudytooty in a thread dealing with personal experiences by UD fans at Cintas......

I had three Xavier students hold me hostage at gunpoint, taking turns urinating down my throat during timeouts. Feeling remorse, they offered to buy me a hotdog, but would not let me have mustard! Then they told me they were going to make me have sex with one of their cheerleaders. Desperate, I set off the small vial of c-4 I also take with me for road games to create a diversion, to no avail. Finally, when the game was over, they asked Kurt Huelsman to guard me, and I got away easily.

If you can't handle people screwing with you, don't wear a UD sweatshirt to a road game. It ain't that tough. It happens everywhere. I hold X no more responsible for their fans than I want to be held for ours.

that whole thread is ridiculous. It's like other teams are supposed to treat them like royalty. This isn't southern hospitality, and you're not on vacation. There will be jerks wherever you go, and you just have to suck it up and deal with it.

Now let's all join hands and sing "koom bi ya"

I got treated like crap when I went up to UD to visit my friend's brother. That's just the way it is.

Back in 2004 at the A10 tournament during our game against St. Joes I had a seventy year old lady call me a 'Xavier -ag'. Didn't respond right away. When we got up to leave I turned around to granny and asked when the last time UD beat a #1 team at UD Arena? She didn't dignify a response.

Seriously this stuff is to be expected on some levels. Don't get your shorts in a wad Flyers. They tend to exaggerate about their team so we shouldn't think any different about their 'experiences' either.

When the games are at UD, UD fans treat XU fans like crap. I have personal experience with this well known fact.

On the other hand, I don't agree that Xavier fans should return the favor. Any fan should be able to come into Cintas without being yelled at or harrassed simply for being at the game.

If another fan starts being obnoxious to Xavier fans, then that's a different story. I think another fan can cheer for their team, but don't be an a-hole about it when you're surrounded by a bunch of Xavier fans.

Nothing they experience at the 'Tas will ever even approach the level of hate I experienced in the AFC Chapionship Game when I went into Heinz Field and wore my Purple Flacco jersey.

But you don't see me holding all the Steelers fans responsible for the shit I had to put up with.

What a bunch of crybabies. Get a life.
