A10 Tourney: Bring It On

Later this morning, I will respectfully remind my supervisor of my annual holiday that falls on the second Thursday of March whereby I will leave work early to watch our beloved Musketeers play their annual noon A10 turney opener as the #1 seed.

I have already taken the day off for that noon game on Thursday...also took the first 2 days off of the NCAA tourney so that way if X plays during the day or late night Thursday I am ready....

I was checking out the standings this morning. It appears to me that if Dookane somehow pulls out a victory over ud at the dump, then the legend-in-their-own-mind cryers would lose a first round bye. That would be true even if UMass beats URI because the cryers lost to URI and would lose tiebreakers to both Dookane and the Rams.

Is my assumption correct?

I think I saw on the A10 board someone post that Dayton could only finish 3rd or 5th, but not 4th. Don't know if that is correct or not.

That sounds right then. If they beat Dookane, they are the only 5 loss team and the end up 4th. If they loose to Dookane, then ud had 6 losses and Dookane has 6 losses and they would in fact end up 5th and loose a bye. Wow, I would really love to see that happen.
