Anyone actually know where Duquesne comes from?

If you go back to the French and Indian wars during the mid-1700s, the French had set up a settlement called Fort Duquesne close to where the city of Pittsburgh is today. When the settlement was conquered by the British, they renamed the settlement Fort Pitt in honor of statesman William Pitt.
