Kittens down 22 with 4 to go in the first. Mitchel ejected, Vaughn with 3 fouls and Gates with 2. Not going to be pretty for the little brothers.

What did Mitchell do to get ejected?

Hip checked a guy into the second row as he went up for a dunk. While the foul itself wasn't enough for an ejection, Mitchell simply walked away and didn't bother to help the SU player or make sure he was ok.

Yeah, I can't stand them.
They schedule a bunch of cupcakes, all at home every year OOC, then lose to two or three awful teams, go .500 in the Big East and demand that they make the tourney.
It is embarassing seeing Boehiem bitch and moan after selection sunday, and then they show their joke of an OOC, where they play ALL home games.
UC down 30 with 8:23 to go. Vaughn has yet to score today. This is one of those games where I want both teams to lose.

Agree. Especially after the Mick comments.

Not to start bashing the Cats, but my neighbor stopped over yesterday. He has a Xavier grad daughter and a UC grad son, and those two go at it around shootout time. Their basement is 1/2 X and 1/2 UC. The Dad usually cheers for both schools.
The son took Dad to the WVa game the other night. He went on and on about the attitude displayed by UC. Not Vaughn or Gates, but the other players seeming to him to be out of control. Getting a "T", dissing Mick when he tried to talk to them, mouthing off, etc.. He said that he won't go back and then we had a great discussion of X and where the Muskies are headed.

I think they can safely forget that silly NCAA talk now... No, wait, they are still at it!!! Who knew sUCks fans could be so delusional? "Win our last two games, then win 2 in the Big East tourney and we are in!" I can't find an emoticon that expresses the sheer amount of laughter that prediction brings!

According to the game's announcer, UC is above .500 in conference play. Therefore, they deserve to be in the tourney.

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIght.
Their .500 record in the league is a sham-wow due to the unbalanced schedule. Losing twice to Providence puts the nail in their coffin. Add to that, their RPI and SOS will drop after they play S. Florida and Seton Hall.

Wow, talk about ugly. Any NCAA tourney aspirations are OVER. They don't deserve it, unless they win the last two, and get to the finals of the conference tourney. Not gonna happen.

Lance's blog has an interesting stat--UC is 8-0 against the bottom half of the Big East, but 0-8 against the top 7 teams. They're .500 because they are taking care of business against the bad teams in the league.

Ha ha.
I don't know what I hate more: UC or UD.
