There was little on TV last night so I decided to watch a potentially good MAAC game. It featured Siena and Niagara.

During the course of the game a foul was called on one of the players and the referee got in the face of the fouler. The commentators agreed that the foul didn't warrant the actions of the official. Later in the game I noticed that same official talking to players like he was their coach or father confessor.

Does anybody want to guess who the horrendously vain official (an A-10 regular) was?

Kudos to whomever comes up with his name first (but it shouldn't be too hard because of the description of the above scenarios).

DeMayo

I watched some of the game. At one point he got into the face of a player and screamed at him like he was Bobby Knight.

Jeez! That was too easy, I guess! My next hint was going to be to give his first name. But then I remembered that I described some of the incidents in the game and it was a give-away!

That man absolutely has to go! If he refs any A-10 games in this year's Conference Tourney or any regular Conference games next year, the referee supervisor for the League should be shot (or given a lobotomy or eye examination).
