It's scary to learn there is a league in the world so bad that Jimmie Binnie is considered an all star.

I thought I saw Jimmie at the NBA All Star Break at the skills competition where people dribbled around him. Am I wrong about that?

I am now convinced that I could play in the Denmark league and be a solid contributor to any team.

I'm not kidding. We should form a Xavierhoops.com team and claim the title.

I'm trying to find Binnie's season stats, but judging by his all star game and appearance, i would imagine they are pretty good....
He is probably a celebrity over there. Signing autographs left and right. a Denmark version of Lebron James minus the athleticism, height, shooting, dribbling, rebounding, understanding of the game, shot blocking ability, ability to take over games, dunking, ability to make others better, doing things that no one else can do, and court vision.
However i just had a hilarious mental image of jimmy binnie heading over to the scorers table before the game, rubbing his hands together with that white powder, and then throwing it in the air just like Lebron....

I didn't think it was possible for the Traffic Cone to be more white trash but he has succeeded with that new hair cut.

that is hilarious....the 79ers....we gotta figure out what the translation is.
I found his stats... 18.6 ppg. Seriously.

He almost averages as many points as D West does in the NBA. Dayton has passed us as a program.

You could call that cut the "Traffic Cone". Why doesn't he just tint it orange?
What a f-ing rube!

So seeing that Dupree Lucas went to Portland State it made me think of him and Odia from that recruiting class and I wanted to see the rankings/ratings about those guys back then. While looking at the Top 150 list on Rivals.com, I noticed one name that particularly stood out:
143 Jimmy Binnie
Johnston (IA) Johnston F 6-7/190 Dayton
He was ranked as the 143rd top prospect in 2004! He wasn't even the 143rd best player in the city of Dayton last year. I may be the only one, but I had no idea that people initially thought highly of him as a basketball talent.
