"Hot Thread"

I'm new to this board and was curious to know what must happen for a thread to be considered "hot" and receive the golden gleam.

There is a legend in every forum at the bottom with all of the icons. Simply mouse over them and they tell you the requirements for designation. Hot is 15 replies or 150 views I do believe.
