This has been an entertaining game to watch so far with the Cards up 3 at the half. Hopefully they can hold on because I am not going to be able to stand all the bandwagon UC fans all of the sudden remembering that they have a basketball team.

the Cards have dominated this 2nd half. UC fans are going to cry about the officiating, but in reality Louisville's full court press and inside game is why they are pulling away.

My friend who went to the game said that it was about 25% Louisville fans.

Louisville got way too many offensive rebounds/second chances.

It was a good game. UC couldn't sustain the shots they made in the first half, and the young big men didn't get the job done. It went as expected, although the first half was pretty intense.

Was just watching the end of the Marquette/Georgetown game and UC twice is listed as Bad Losses for G-town. Doesn't say much when you are listed as a Bad Loss for someone.

lol, that sounds about right. The officiating was fine, UC just played soft inside and was dominated by U of L's front line. Chuck is the one that got kicked out of the UC-Gonzaga tourney game right?

Apparently Louisville (per ESPN's story here (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=290522132)) had their practice gear taken away from them after the drubbing at Notre Dame, so clearly they seemed motivated to win this game.

that's right because he was shocked because he was asked to leave and Dan Hoard had to do the game by himself. Has any other color man or announcer for that matter, ever been thrown out of an NCAA tournanment game?

That was the same NCAA tourney game that after SucKS lost, Thuggy and Andy Kennedy got into a bar fight in Salt Lake City with fans. It was never covered in the Cincinnati media, but an ESPN Magazine reporter witnessed it and reported it in full, trashing ol' Coif's rep again.

Seems like Andy has some unresolved anger management issues still in place- maybe only when he's drunk. Great examples for the yout's of America.

UC is doing pretty well with the players/coaches they have now..both in hoops and football. I give them credit for that. Tearing down other programs doesn't make us better, nor give us a better seed in the tourney.
The disparaging remarks that goes on here really drives me nuts. It's one thing to do it in the smack forum, but it's all over, all the time, from virutally everyone.
This isn't what X is about, I hope. I know more than a couple X fans, have met AD's, trustees, ex-players, professors, etc...and they don't seem the type to bash opponents daily.
If we want to be taken seriously, I suggest we take a new approach. It starts here.
