Given that she hasn't played this year, it almost seems to me that they would be benefit by having her redshirt this year. The team is playing well without her.
I know that Amber has said that she wouldn't redshirt; however, I wonder if her return could mess up the chemistry of the team. I also wonder that if she could play at 100% this soon after the knee surgery.
Any thoughts on this?

I think the story is that even if her injury kept her from playing at all this year, her plan would still be to graduate in 4 years then test the waters in the WNBA. If this is true, she may see some limited playing time in March.
If she's even considering staying for a 5th year, I agree with you; keep her sidelined and let her and Ta'Shia dominate for the next two seasons together.

I know for sure that she will not be here another two years... Next year will be her last year... I say if shes healthy enough let her come off the bench in our remaining games and just put in solid minutes... Not too much time though... I think coach is smart enough to not mess up the chemistry with this team so if and when she comes back I think she'll understand her role will be different than in years past...

I agree - Ta'Shai is a monster inside; if the guards keep making their threes, the ladies are already a force to contend with. They may well go undefeated in league play and I'd love to see them make the Sweet 16.
