Illinois is winning 29-24 over Penn State right now with 6:50 to go in the 2nd half. Just thought everyone should know.

It's on the big ten network if you'd like to watch....

That was an offensive EXPLOSION for Penn State in the second half. They scored more than 20!

It's always a tough conference to figure out.

Overrated??? Perhaps. Like the Big East, Big Ten schools have big alumni bases and receive too much press.

I'm not really aware of anyone that is rating the Big Ten too highly this year. It's all Big East/ACC, all the time.

well most of the ratings have the Big Ten over the Big East right now I believe.

And it seems like year after year the national media overrate MSU, Wisconsin, Indiana, and this year Purdue.

I'm not really aware of anyone that is rating the Big Ten too highly this year. It's all Big East/ACC, all the time.

I saw something the other day mentioning that the Big 10 or ACC is probably the best conference in the country. I guess that's what happens when people let math problems decide the quality of teams.

Sorry, I was more talking about the talking heads out there (not the computers). All the talk I hear is about the greatness of the Big East and/or the ACC.

I was thinking the same thing. Even SLU usually scores more than that save that one horrible game no one here likes to think about.

I turned it off and watched Jonny Wolf & UNC-Wilmington vs. Old Dominion for a bit. It was like watching a HS game.
