A pretty good game going on right now. 46-45 Pitt with 12 minutes left.
By the way, Dejuan Blair is an absolute monster on the boards. Amazing to watch.

This would be a big win for Pitt. Right now their best win all year is against Florida St. and their 2nd best win is against Syracuse with there win against Siena being their 3rd best win. They have yet to beat the best of the big east losing by 10 at Nova and by 6 at Louisville. But if they lose tonight they still get a shot for a big win by finishing up at home this year against Marquette and UCONN.
Pitt is a team that seems at times that does really well during the season and then takes an early exit from the NCAA tourney. I wonder if people at Pitt will start to get a little anxious if this Pitt team does not go deep in the tourney. After all Pitt has never ever made it past the sweet 16.

I certainly didn't expect Pitt to win this one. This makes it much more likely that we'll end up with two Big East teams as #1 seeds (to go along with probably OK and UNC).

Still time for one to lose out...I think UConn and Pitt have a return date.
I assume the Dyson injury could impact UConn for the rest of the year. They could drop some along the way.

Probably right. The only other teams with a shot are probably Michigan St. and as crazy as this sounds Memphis.

If Memphis is a #1 seed, teams will be BEGGING to get into their region. No offense to Memphis who is very good, but they're not a #1 seed.
