Looks like St. Joe is going to lose to Lasalle. Down 10 with a minute left. They had the Thursday, Saturday turn around this week. Guess it is a tough one.

Yeah, but they never had to leave Philly.

I really don't think SJU is that good.

They aren't when Nivins isn't dominating. Today Nivins played all 40 minutes and took three shots and 12 FTs. That has to be 13 shots and 12 FTs for the fightin' Frank Barone's to succeed. I didn't watch so it could have been due to LaSalle's defense or any number of factors, but the fact is that SJU is very mundane without Nivins going off because the rest of their team is awful.

Look at the minutes played in the box score. 39, 40, 37, 39, 37, 3, 5. I know Phil likes to have his best players play the whole game, but you can't win consistently with 5 players. This isn't Hickory, Indiana.
