Just got an estimate to re-do my box gutters. It seems there's been some "quick fixes" done, and they essentially need to rebuild them. The first estimate was $5k.
Anyone who was on the bus, I miscalculated the total cost. It wasn't $65, it was $203.88 each. Just send me the difference.
Does anyone know anyone who does box gutter work? I'd like to get a couple more estimates.
Unfortunately, getting rid of the box gutters is not an option.

I sent you a PM of a guy who would like to take a look at it. Hope you have a ladder or two or some nice neighbors.

I'm looking for someone who has enough experienced to have purchased their own ladder by now.

In fairness to Snipe, he did PM me with the guy's contact info. I threw some bad money at this problem last year, and I'm looking to get it fixed once and for all by someone willing to back up their work.

Just trying to save you on the labor end. Do you have custom molding on the box gutters? If so you can take a piece down and get some made yourself. I would think that most roofing companies would be able to help you. Any carpenter should be able to put it together and you could have a roofing company line it.
Are you lining it with copper? That will be the most expensive but it will last forever. Rubber is cheaper but you will have more maintenance issues. I hate leaks more than anything. Every windstorm is a nightmare.
