The A10 has quietly moved up to the number 8 conference ranking, ahead of the Missouri Valley by a hair. Obviously, the MVC might make up ground in the bracket buster; I'm not sure any A10 teams have OOC games remaining.

A10 has finished all their OOC games as of 1/31

Unfortunately, we Xavier fans rip the A10 more than the national publications. We Xavier fans probably rip the A10 even moreso than UC fans. Nationally the A10 is considered a tough conference.

My wish for the A10 is that they are consistently the 7th ranked conf in RPI and consistently have at least 2 teams in the tourney. That's it. Would I like us to get in a better conf? Yes, you bet. But until then, those are my modest wishes.

I'm not usually one to rip on the A10 on whole lot, but i Have to disagree here. The A10 is not considered a tough conference nationally. In all honesty no conference really is after the big 6. On occasion conferences outside of the big 6 are considered to be tough for a certain year but only on a year by year basis.

That huge win that Charlotte had over 6-15 Winthrop caused the move. Nothing like scheduling that big non-conference game during the conference schedule.
