Pretty big rivalry game in the Sooner state, but only the lower bowl is full.
Looks like they have had the inclement ice weather similar to the Duquesne game last year. From what the announcers said (same guys that did the LSU game Sat night), they were just letting anyone from off the street in for free.

The sideline reporter just said that the Ok St. player who got a technical in the first few minutes of the game has not been back in. Don't think this would have happen if either of the Suttons was still there.

During this Okie/OkState game, the announcers were talking about an Oklahoma State starter who got a T very early in the game, and how their coach benched the guy for the game (so far), which in my estimation is a very, very impressive thing to do considering the competition. They said that Travis Ford said "That cannot be tolerated".

The announcers were talking about it, and how it was painful not only for the player, but for the coach, then the announcer said that it instilled a nature of toughness...and doing things the right way...

then it happened....

And I quote...

"You want that culture of toughness, and doing things the right way, and Ron we saw this with Xavier this last Saturday night down at LSU, toughness is not just about cheap elbows , toughness is about carrying out assignments and doing what the coach wants."

I HATE dayton.

A freidn of mine just sent this interesting information to me:

Since leaving EKU, his record is an underwhelming 70-39 with zero NCAA appearances (136–124 overall).

Get ready for some fun Stillwater!

I never understood why anyone was excited about what Ford did at UMass. They went from shitty to mediocre. Woo hoo!

They were excited because Steve Lappas was no longer in charge of the program. Instant upgrade even with a couple of NCAA bids that UMass pissed away the last 2 seasons.

Well, I have to say I always thought he could do some great things at UMass. This conference needs a good UMass program. But I agree in a sense he doesn't overwhelm really when you put his record in perspective.

I have to say though, I think it's funny that OSU fired Sutton and replaced him with...Travis Ford! Travis Ford everybody! Get your season tickets now!

I thought this was one of the funniest SNL bits since Don't Hurt Me. But it may be because it was in the last 30 min and I was mind altered.
