O- Ho, ho, hee, hee, ha,ha.

An 18 point loss to Illinois. Yep, ol' Beaknose has quite the recruiting haul there in Columbus. Without Evan Turner, that team has some real offensive issues. Lauderdale, waste. Mullens, unrefined. Diebler? So overhyped, not even funny.

No guarantee of a Dance bid.

I hope to science they don't make the tournament this year!

His new recruiting style of getting too many one and dones is killing him. Except the year they reached the finals (which I think was an exception), what has this style gotten him? An NIT championship and another year on the bubble.

Funny how none of you bashers mention the Lighty injury. Ohio State was on schedule til that devastating loss.

I'm not as big a Thad hater as some on this board (we were the true winners in his departure as far as I'm concerned), but I love seeing Ohio State struggle in anything. I would laugh and point at an elderly lady struggling to haul a full shopping cart up a steep hill if she was wearing an Ohio State shirt. Sorry, but that's just me.

You have to wonder if a place like Ohio State kills ambition for basketball coaches. Certainly, the fact that OSU pays Thad a big salary shows their desire to have a successful program. Regardless, making an appearance in the championship game a couple years ago satifies a fan base and administration who are hyped up on football. Will Thad have the same drive to succeed that he had at X and Butler?

I think that's what MOR meant to say, but if he comes back healthy and OSU starts winning again, the NCAA will give them a pass for their injuries. Mark my words, people will bitch on here that they're overseeded.

Despite the fact I live in Columbus, I dislike OSU. I would love nothing more than for them to flame out again this year. But they are going to make the tournament. They already have some good road wins (Miami, Michigan). They beat Notre Dame and Butler. They have a couple lopsided losses, but no losses to subpar teams. Their RPI and SOS are very solid at this point. I agree that some of these very-hyped recruits haven't really produced as advertised, but they are finding ways to win most games. I hate it.

There is no shame in losing @ Illinois. If we were to win there, we would be hanging our hat on it all year.

It's been awhile since we bashed Thad Matta.

Man do I feel better!

Thad Matta is one of the best things to ever happen to our program. We were awesome when he was here, and he introduced us to Sean Miller.

I love me some Thad Matta.

I root for Thad Matta. I don't think MOR is ever going to get over it. Not that he should have to or anything, that is his gig.

I would like to play tOSU. I don't see that happening. I can still hope for West Virginia in the DC Muskie Classic.

If I'm the sponosr does that mean I get to cancel it? That would be awesome. I'd totally sponor the UWVA/ Xavier series, just so I could cancel it and go on a rant that would last three days at least.
