So far tonight:

UD 39 DU 38 Half

Richmond 35 Bonnies 34 Half

Temple 37 UMASS 33 Half

GW/SLU- 9:00 game

A guy on the A-10 board posts video links for each game. Here's the thread (http://www.basketballforum.com/atlantic-10-conference/419846-video-links-saturday-jan-17-a.html) if interested. I know at least the UD link works.

I'm really glad to see Duquesne and St. Bona are really improved, apparently. There seems to be a lot of parity in the league this year. I'm interested to see how LaSalle looks tomorrow. They sound like they are on the upswing with some serious recruits coming in.

UMass pulls out the win over Temple, and Dayton prevails on the road over Duquesne.

I think that UMass and Temple are two of the 4 most talented teams in the league. Love the way Gaffney plays for UMass.

That's a huge win for Bona.

Xavier should run the f'n train on this conference this year. I watched 6 teams tonight, and I saw 6 teams X SHOULD destroy. While I saw some really good players I didn't see good teams. F'n UMess is the 2nd best team in this league, they just pooped their pants OOC. Gaffney is a BEAST.

Duquesne, SBU, LaSalle have all shown improvement, but your have to put their improvement in perspective. They went from Awful to Average at best.

SLU is a year away, GW is Fordham level. They are playing now.

St. Joes is dangerous, but they are way down. We also don't have to play them in the fieldhouse.

URI is one of the better teams, already beat them in a struggle.

The league is bad. We always slip occasionally but Xavier should beat any team in this league at least 8 of 10 times. most 9 of 10.

Here's to 16-0 in the conference. If there is a year to do it this is it.

I'd love to see it but I cannot imagine X will go 16-0 in conference.

jdm it's more a comment about the ineptitude of the conference. I figure Xavier will lose 2-3 times actually, but I think all our losses will be HUGE disappointments this year. Even if we go 16-0 in our conference we will see our RPI drop 8 spots or so. If we lose 3 our rpi won't even be top 25. That is SAD.

At least UMess and Temple played an entertaining high scoring game to break up B-Espn's Big Greased full day love fest. They actually looked like respectable college basketball teams. We have a break that we're playing them both at home.

I'm glad we get UMass, Temple, and SJU at home. Feeling pretty good about the home/road shakeout this year, especially since X already won at URI.

If we finish 24-5 in the regular season, I find it hard to believe our RPI will not be top 25. Could be wrong...
