Headed to Evansville

Batesville (Ind.) guard Colt Ryan has committed to Evansville, picking the Aces over Miami (Ohio), Middle Tennessee and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The 6-foot-4 Ryan averaged 16 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists last season at Batesville.

Ryan was one of my favorite players to watch over the summer, playing for the loaded Indiana Elite One team. He can knock it down from outside.

A great get for the Purple Aces, I guess something about those purple t-shirt jersey's kids these days.

I think had Colt waited til the end of the season he would have seen bigger offers. Alex Grimsley (Kent State, Batesville, 08) only had an offer from IPFW to start the season, played great as a senior made some all star teams and now is a Golden Flash.

Something at E-ville must have clicked.
