IUPUI's Ron Hunter is at it again...this time with more support:
Last year, IUPUI's Ron Hunter was the only basketball coach to go barefoot on the sideline during an effort to collect shoes for needy children around the world.
This year, hundreds of foot soldiers have joined the cause.
More than 300 coaches to go barefoot (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3818149)

Ron Hunter is a great guy. He's a real asset to the Indianapolis Charity scene.

i was reading an article about that yesterday. It only named a few coaches, does anyone know if Miller is going to participate in this. While I also like the cause the coaches support when they wear sneakers, of which i cannot remember the exact name, i really do prefer this cause and hope that all professional leagues hopefully accept this cause at some point.

The sneaker wearing is for the Jimmy V foundation I believe...Coaches vs. Cancer National Awareness Day

Indiana's Governor to go shoeless
"Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels will appear barefoot in his office Friday morning with IUPUI basketball coach Ron Hunter to support Hunter's effort to raise awareness for Samaritan's Feet. The announcement came this afternoon during a national teleconference to discuss Hunter's efforts with the charity. Coaches from around the country are joining Hunter in coaching barefoot this year."

Sean should go shoeless, but wear a black glove to every game. Smell the glove. Flagship.

There has to be a better way than going barefoot. I love the idea on principle but it would be cold as hell on my feet if I were to work a game in bare feet. Plus, the potential for mangling those toes goes way up around all of those big guys.
Can you imagine the damage our sasquatch, Big Kenny Frease, would do if he stepped on your bare feet? F**k that!
They should all wear a snuggie to indicate their solidarity. You can do anything and if a group of people all do the same thing, it will draw attention to your cause. Wrap a shamwow around your head like a turbin. Hell Sean should probably staple a couple of those bad boys under his armpits to sop up his man stink and minimize the lakes that form by half time in that area.
