My first response when I read the thread title was: Watch, we will finally get a player named Xavier and he will insisit on a pronunciation like Javier, or even worse the hard X sound that causes us to cringe whenever we hear it.

His committment has been on the ESPN basketball page for a bit. Every time I see his name I think it's an article about X.
