Ok, so Oh-ho-ho State got drilled today- their first loss, but here's the real story. They dropped all the way to 30 in the RPI. That's what happens when you play a schedule loaded with cheesecake.
Contrast XU losing the last 2 and still at RPI #6. That's what happens when you aren't afraid to play people- even if you lose a couple.
Ohio State did beat Butler, so they have that on us.
EDIT: But I guess to rationalize, losing at home by 28 to a good-not-great WVU team is a little worse than losing to a #5 Duke team by 18 or to a 10-1 Butler team by 9. I'll just keep telling myself that as I drink away the holiday season :)

The Buckasses looked much worse against 'good-but-not-even-close-to-great' WV than the Musketeers did against #7 Duke. They packed it in whereas the Musketeers fought to the finish.

OSU certainly packed it in once WVU started that big run.
Ohio State will be lucky to make the Big Dance without their glue guy Lighty. I know first hand how stagnant UD's offense can be, but it's not as bad as OSU and UD plays great defense. Ohio State plays gamble defense and Lauderdale can't block everything. Offensively OSU is atrocious. Sub-par PG play, very little movement, and no one but Turner can create his own shot. Is there a worse "great shooter" than Jon Diebler? OSU fans treated him like the love child of Redick and Steve Alford when he came in. Now they have to realize that 40PPG with daddy coaching you in HS means squat when you get to college. They need Turner to average about 25 to do much more than .500 in the Big Ten.
