Every time the Zags get a chance to prove that they can play with the big boys, they just can't get it done. Game with a Big East opponent on the west coast with a crowd all for them on CBS. Not only that, everybody on the team is back from last year.

I would much rather be an X fan tonight than a Gonzaga fan.

I know that sounds crazy. Gonzaga played better than X today. But that being said, I think's it's better to be killed by a team than lose a close one (you can write off a blowout as a fluke, but losing a close one will question the mental strength of a team).

If they can put the game in the rearview mirror and take care of Butler, I'd agree. This is one of the reasons earlier in the year that I was afraid of the timing of this game.
