25+ points up with under 5 minutes to go, looks like a nice warm up game. Not one that will mean much at the end of the season, but a win is a win.
For Hester fans, Mo is playing in the 2nd half,
T-Phil with 25!!! Taylor a dozen, Tudy 11.
Tyesha M getting some good PT, as are Alesia, Megan and Dee Dee.

And it's a final, 84-60. and it was not that close. Davidson's Lax hit 3 straight 3 pointers in the final minute and a half to keep it under 30 points.
Second line finished the game, Tyesha ended up with 10, Barringer 4, Moore 4, and Mo Hester finished with 7 points in 9 minutes.
44 of those 84 points came in the paint, and they limited Davidson to just 16 inside points.

Nice tune up for a toughie on Sunday @AZ State. Coach must have had some inspirational words at the half. They seemed to come out much more agressive after the break. I thought it was interesting that the guy who does the radio, who does a nice job by the way, noted several suspect officiating calls. More than once he said something to the effect of " thankfully, that wont have an effect on the final outcome." He usually doesn't do much griping so it must have been pretty bad to be mentioning it more than once in a game that was playing out the way it was.
PA- you are right. Any win is a good win. Good luck to the ladies on Sunday.

Mike Schmaltz does the radio PxP - I wonder if Trevor Cole will make a special appearance when UNH comes to town with Kristin Cole and Tara Boothe.

Nice win over Davidson. While Davidson did get it six at one point in the first half, XU threw the knockout punch early in the second half. Mike had the run at like 11-3 in the first three minutes. Thought that referee comment was funny, too.
Great that the team is able to assert itself and take control of games over lesser teams. Interested to learn what happens tomorrow. Understood that the team left right after the Davidson game and logged some serious miles yesterday. Hope they're fresh and ready to go.
ASU lost by 10 to Texas which is No. 5 in both polls this week. ASU is a great chance for the ladies to get back in the Top 25.
In the meantime - GO X! BEAT DUKE! Xavier so owes Duke one from the 2004 Elite 8 game.
