I hope he is Man of the Year in a good way next year. That would mean much more. He got this one for winning a popularity contest against Scrooge McDuck. Heaven help this country in the next twelve months.

You wonder why people fight so hard for such a shitty job. Barrack has 1000 different ways he could fail badly. Good luck Mr. President.

I wish he would keep smoking. I think it'd be hilarious if we had a president chain smoking over every stressful decision. Some of the greatest minds were smokers. So why does it matter?

It's Person of the Year by the way.

And Snipe, what exactly did W do to gain this "award" in 2000? Or Bill Clinton in 92? Or Regan in 80 or Carter in 76?

It's usually given to the person most talked about during the year.

It's a stupid "award' anyway in my opinion.

He would be well deserving. Patraeus is an American hero.

It is a stupid award, because you won it in 2006. That is gay.

George Bush won it three times! You only won it once! But what if George Bush was reading Time Magazine in 2006? Then "you" would have meant him too. That is four times for George Bush.

And in 1966, George W. Bush was "25 and under". That is five times for George Bush!

I speak with authority on this because I was Time's man of the year in 2006.

As a previous winner I wish the best of luck to Mr. Obama.

With that racist bigot George W. Bush gone, Barack Obama can finally appoint blacks, hispanics, and women to high-level Cabinet posts.
